Thanksgiving is always a special time of the year. Family and friends coming together to celebrate all of the good things in their lives, finding things to be joyful about over a hearty meal, traditional or not. While often glossed over in the excitement leading up to Christmas, this holiday is no less important a tradition in the United States.
The traditional meal held in remembrance of that first gathering of pilgrims and Native Americans in a rough time for those early colonists is a great start for those of us today, but many take it a step further. This grand tradition has seen a great many twists and turns through the years. Looking at those various changes, tweaks, and additions is a fantastic way to reflect on America itself. We are truly a melting pot of cultures, coming together as a greater whole, and most of our holidays reflect that!
Whether your meal will be a traditional one, or some new fusion of the old and the new, we want to you to remember the history, the value, and the meaning of this great holiday. Be thankful for everything we have, be thankful for those around you, and be thankful for the food. We know we are! But mostly, we are thankful for you, our family, our friends, and our clients!
